I joined Moonshot CVE in 2023 as its first web hire — a team previously making do with low-quality third-party website builders. Two years later, Moonshot operates a 16-site WordPress estate that clients describe as a professional web agency. I built everything that made that shift happen.
My background is web design — a decade of HTML, CSS, Elementor and WordPress. At Moonshot that expanded into custom WordPress PHP development (AJAX systems, custom shortcodes, hooks, filters, REST handlers), Linux server administration, Cloudflare architecture, multi-layer security programmes, and Google Cloud automation using Apps Script, the GA4 Data API, Gmail API, Admin SDK and BigQuery.

The main website for Moonshot CVE, a global counter-extremism organisation. I redesigned and rebuilt the site, moved it to faster hosting, and manage it day-to-day — including a members-only area for clients.
An online safety resource built for a major US sports organisation, helping athletes and staff stay safe online. I designed and built the site end-to-end and continue to manage and develop it.
A full redesign and rebuild for a luxury floating accommodation and events venue at Canary Wharf, London. The previous site was outdated and hurting the brand — the new site repositions it as a premium experience, with a seamless booking flow, multi-calendar sync, and a structured event enquiry system. Delivered end-to-end in 3 weeks on a freelance basis alongside full-time work.
A series of public-facing websites helping people affected by violence find support and resources. Built for vulnerable audiences — each site includes safety features, works across multiple languages, and is optimised for all devices.
Designed and built complex membership platforms serving professional networks in the violence prevention sector. Extensive custom PHP throughout — AJAX handlers, custom shortcodes for data rendering, JetEngine deduplication workarounds, async pagination with waitFor patterns, AJAX-driven live data counts, file upload filters, and dynamic report sections. Includes interactive Mapbox-powered provider directories and MemberPress-gated content and reports.
When I joined Moonshot in 2023, there was no web team and no proper web presence. I built everything from the ground up — 16 websites, the hosting infrastructure, security systems, automated reporting, and the processes the team now uses to manage it all. Promoted to Web Development Manager in 2025.
